  1. Take 3 lb chuck pot roast
  2. Prepare 1 1/2 cup beef broth
  3. Make ready 6 small baby red potatoes; halved
  4. Prepare 2 cups baby carrots
  5. Make ready 1 yellow onion; sliced
  6. Get to taste garlic salt
  7. Take to taste ground pepper
  8. Prepare 3 tsp dijon mustard

  12. Prepare 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
Steps to make Grandma's Pot Roast:
  1. Cut roast in half. Rub down with dijon mustard, dried rosemary, tyme, salt, pepper & garlic salt. Place roast into slow cooker. Put slow cooker on high.
  2. Pour into slow cooker your beef broth, halved potatoes, baby carrots & sliced onion. Then sprinkle a packet of Lipton onion soup mix over roast & veggies.
  3. Cover & cook on high for 6 hrs. As the roast cooks it will shrink, leaving room to move around the veggies half way through the cooking process. When finished the roast should easily fall apart. Serve & enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜†
